As a Community Associate, you’ll be the link between Front Row Ventures, Ontario post-secondary campuses, and the startup ecosystem. You’ll expand FRV’s community and strengthen our brand by managing our online presence and make sure FRV is known on-campuses.
We’re looking to hire Community Associates revolved around the following pillars: Growth, Design, and Events/Communications (candidates are not limited to a single pillar). We love multi-talented individuals - if you have previous experience or work that doesn’t fit in the pillars, but you see a fit for the bigger team, please include it! Brand Management & Marketing Experience: have full ownership of FRV’s brand strategy and messaging across all our platforms. From writing blog posts to executing and testing marketing campaigns, you’ll be our voice.
Community Development: you'll go through the full process of building and nurturing a community of like-minded people. You’ll meet ambitious and forward-thinking students, top tier VCs and entrepreneurs.
Discover a new industry: get a head start for a future career in tech, startup, and VC, learning the ropes of an exciting industry and being coached by marketing, brand and PR veterans.
Creative students who are passionate about communication, growth, design, are dedicated community builders, and naturally curious about technology and startups. Diversity is our strength, there is no typical FRV profile. However, here’s what everyone on our community team will always have in common:
– We’re always looking for the best communication tools and are eager to experiment with new channels.
– We have a creative approach to campaign build outs – always looking for clever ways to improve performance while maintaining our brand image.
– We are university students based in Ontario who are committed to working with FRV for at least a year (that means you have to be in school and stay with us until May 2020).
