Timing varies from company to company and depends in part on the stage of the business. For a company with a clear raise and the information we need, the process can take as little as six weeks. For earlier-stage companies, we may take more time to get to know the founders, follow their progress, and build conviction, and the process can take up to six months. This is a relationship business: the sooner we identify promising founders, the more time we have to follow their progress and understand how FRV can contribute.
